I co-founded LatinOz with the aim of fostering mutual support among community members and cultivating deep connections that make us feel a sense of belonging to Australia and for our children to be proud of their multicultural identities. I love collaborating with women who are creative, encouraging and willing to work for the benefit of our community.

Rocío Tapie
I co-founded LatinOz with a deep passion for promoting and celebrating our culture, particularly within the context of family.
It is my sincere desire that all children born and raised in Australia can embrace and take pride in the richness and diversity of our Latin American heritage.

Cecilia Mansilla
My motivation to co-found LatinOz, comes from a desire to reconnect with my heritage, re-discover the rich and diverse cultures of the many countries that make up Latin America and build new friendships and community bonds as I walk this collective journey.

Marcela Lapertosa
Co-founding LatinOz was a natural choice for me as it allows me to contribute to the promotion of the Spanish language and Latin cultures, ensuring that future generations can appreciate and embrace the richness and diversity that our heritage offers.

Andrea Ballesteros
I co-founded LatinOz because I’m fascinated by Latin American history and culture, and the Spanish language, and wish to share it and celebrate it with children and adults of Latin American backgrounds or with an interest in this.
There is much to learn, love and cherish about our culture.

Nicole Berstein
I am deeply honoured to have co-founded LatinOz, to work alongside a group of talented professionals who are making impactful contributions to advance multiculturalism in Australia and to direct my efforts towards a cause that cares about promoting, preserving and celebrating Latin American culture and Latin Spanish language.
