Día de Muertos

Dia de Muertos, or the Day of the Dead is is one of the most important and deeply rooted traditions in Mexican culture traditionally held on November 1st and 2nd, though other days, such as October 31st or November 6th, may be included depending on the locality. This vibrant and joyous occasion honors the memory of loved ones who have passed away. Unlike other traditions that view death with sadness, Dia de Muertos is a celebration of life and death, a time when families come together to remember and rejoice in the lives of those who are no longer with us.
