QWINBIZ 2026 – Program Coordinator (Spanish Speaking)

About the Role:


We’re looking for a passionate and organised Program Coordinator to lead the 2026 edition of QWINBIZ “The power of Ideas”.
The ideal candidate will be a native Spanish speaker with professional English communication skills, and comfortable working in multicultural and collaborative settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of  in-person workshops and mentoring sessions.

  • Liaise with facilitators, mentors, participants, and partner organisations.

  • Support logistics (venue, schedules, participant communication).

  • Manage registration forms, attendance lists, and post-session feedback.

  • Collaborate with the LatinOz QLD committee to ensure smooth delivery of the program.

  • Prepare progress reports and updates for internal meetings.
     

Requirements:

  • Native Spanish speaker and professional-level English.

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in event coordination, education, or community development.

  • Familiarity with small business, entrepreneurship, or multicultural initiatives is a plus.

  • Ability to commit to approximately 6–8 hours per week (mix of remote and in-person).

  • Workshops are held on Saturday mornings, so availability on weekends is essential.

Event Support Volunteer

 

About the Role


The Event Support Volunteer plays an essential role in ensuring QWINBIZ workshops and networking events run smoothly. You’ll assist with logistics, venue preparation, and coordination to help create a positive and engaging experience for all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Manage catering quotes, facilitator arrangements, and service provider coordination.

  • Purchase refreshments and workshop materials when required.

  • Coordinate venue access and ensure spaces are properly set up before each event.

  • Support event setup, registration, and pack-down.

  • Assist in organising showcases and networking activities.

  • Provide on-site support to the QWINBIZ team and facilitators during events.

 

Requirements

  • Mandatory on-site presence on Saturday mornings during workshop sessions.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Reliability and attention to detail.

  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to help where needed.

  • Passion for community engagement and empowering migrant women.

Participant Engagement Volunteer

 

About the Role


The Participant Engagement Volunteer helps ensure QWINBIZ participants feel supported, valued, and connected throughout the program. This role focuses on engagement, feedback, and participant experience, contributing to the retention and growth of our community of migrant women entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active communication with participants to assess their experience and gather feedback.

  • Support participant retention and engagement strategies.

  • Monitor attendance and participation levels.

  • Manage satisfaction and impact surveys before and after workshops.

  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to identify opportunities for improvement based on participant input.

 

Requirements

  • Availability on Saturday mornings during workshop sessions.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and Spanish preferred).

  • Reliable, organised, and empathetic.

  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

  • Interest in community development, social impact, or women’s empowerment initiatives.

Communications & Partnerships Volunteer

 

About the Role


The Communications & Partnerships Volunteer supports the visibility and outreach of the QWINBIZ program by assisting with marketing coordination, stakeholder engagement, and audiovisual content creation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys communication, storytelling, and connecting with people who share our mission of empowering migrant women.

Responsibilities

  • Support communication with the marketing and social media team.

  • Assist in creating and managing the program’s communication plan and content calendar.

  • Ensure timely delivery of information to all stakeholders.

  • Capture photos and videos during workshops and events to create visual content.

  • Facilitate connections with strategic partners and community stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish preferred).

  • Experience or interest in marketing, social media, or community partnerships.

  • Organised, reliable, and creative.

  • Comfortable taking initiative and working in a team environment.
