QWINBIZ 2026 Terms & Conditions

1) Background

 

QWINBIZ: The Power of Ideas is an initiative developed by LATINOZ QLD INC. (ABN 42372 148 665) to empower migrant women in Queensland by strengthening, scaling, and consolidating their business projects and entrepreneurial ideas.

 

Through hands-on sessions, specialised workshops, mentoring, community engagement, and networking spaces, the program supports participants in navigating the Australian market with confidence and strategic direction.

 

Throughout the program, participants will:

● Strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset and business capabilities.

● Gain a deeper understanding of the Australian business environment, regulations, and opportunities.

● Expand their professional and strategic networks.

● Improve cultural and business adaptability.

● Explore funding opportunities, grants, and scaling models.

2) Eligibility Criteria

To participate, applicants must:

 

a) Reside in Queensland (live, work, or have an office in the state) or have key personnel/subcontractors in Queensland contributing to the business.

b) Be 18 years or older.

c) Identify as a woman.

d) Be a migrant residing in Queensland, originally from a Latin American country or Spain.

e) Hold a current ABN or be eligible to apply for one.

f) Have lived in Australia for at least six (6) months.

g) Hold a valid visa for at least twelve (12) months from the program's start date.

h) Fit one of the following profiles:

 

● A woman exploring or developing a business idea and seeking guidance to validate,

refine, or prepare it for launch.

● An entrepreneurial-minded woman ready to strengthen, formalise, or scale her

existing business.

● The owner of a growing business that requires model adjustments, strategic tools, or

consolidation support.

● The owner of an established business looking to expand, diversify, or introduce new

products/services within Australia.

3) Program Timeline – 2026 Edition

● February 28 – Workshop 1: Opening, Self-Assessment & Entrepreneur Diagnosis

● March 14 – Workshop 2: Ideation

● March 28 – Workshop 3: Business Strategy

● April 18 – Workshop 4: Australian Market

● May 2 – Workshop 5: Regulations, Insurance & Tax

● May 16 – Workshop 6: Marketing & Personal Branding

● May 30 – Workshop 7: Communication & Pitching

● June 13 – Workshop 8: Multicultural Networking

● June 27 – Workshop 9: Mentoring Session

● July 11 – Workshop 10: Mentoring Session

● July 25 – Final Event: Business Idea Pitch

Dates may vary slightly due to logistical considerations. Any changes will be communicated

in advance.

 

4) Dates and Format

The program spans five (5) months and includes ten (10) integrated sessions combining

practical workshops, collaboration, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

 

Key Dates:

● Information Session (non-mandatory): February 7, 2026

● Official Program Start: February 28, 2026

● Program Conclusion: July 25, 2026

 

Certain networking sessions may be opened to the public at a set fee if capacity allows.

These opportunities will be advertised through LatinOz QLD’s official channels.

 

5) Registration

a) Registration must be completed through the official website: https://www.latinoz.org.au

b) The Information Session on February 7 is free and open to the public with registration.

 

Attendance is not mandatory.

c) Once registration and payment are confirmed, participants will receive full program details and an initial survey to support planning of mentoring and networking activities.

d) Program capacity is limited to 35 participants, allocated on a first-come, first-served

basis.

e) If capacity allows, selected networking or community activities may be offered separately at a set cost.

 

6) Registration Fees and Payment Terms

 

Fees

  • Full Price: $350 AUD

  • LatinOz QLD Members (20% off): $280 AUD

  • Early Bird Price: $315 AUD

  • Early Bird + Member Discount: $252 AUD

  • Early Bird Deadline: January 15, 2026

  • Full price applies from January 16, 2026.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships may be offered to support participants experiencing financial hardship.

LatinOz QLD will evaluate each case individually based on the information provided.

Participants wishing to be considered for a scholarship must contact the LatinOz QLD team

● Express their interest in receiving a scholarship, and

● Provide a brief description of their business and their current economic situation.Applicants may be contacted for additional information if needed.

Scholarship availability is limited and not guaranteed. Decisions will be based on demonstrated need, program commitment, and available funding.

 

Payment Rules

a) Discounts apply only within the published deadlines and cannot be applied retroactively.

b) Scholarships are limited and awarded at the discretion of the committee.

c) Refunds will not be issued after the program begins, except in verified cases of force majeure.

d) Payment is accepted exclusively online at www.latinoz.org.au

.

7) Non-Profit Community Initiative

QWINBIZ is delivered by LATINOZ QLD INC. as a non-profit initiative.

All revenue is reinvested into current or future editions of the program.

While many facilitators and volunteers contribute pro bono, LatinOz QLD may hire professionals when necessary to uphold program quality.

8) Certification

 

Participants will receive a certificate of completion if they:

● Attend at least 80% of the program sessions, and

● Complete all required surveys and evaluations.

 

9) Use of Images and Recordings

By participating in QWINBIZ, attendees authorize LatinOz QLD to use photographs, video recordings, audio, and testimonials for promotional and educational purposes.

A media release form will be signed at the start of the program.

 

10) Communications

 

a) Program feedback may be sent to qwinbiz@latinozqld.org.au

b) General inquiries (registration, schedule, venue, payments) must be sent to info@latinozqld.org.au

c) Email will be the primary communication channel for updates and announcements.

 

11) Participant Conduct

a) Respectful behaviour is required throughout the program. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct will not be tolerated.

b) LatinOz QLD reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these terms,

without refund.

c) Business-related information shared by participants must be treated as confidential.

d) Sensitive or proprietary information must not be shared outside the program context.

 

12) Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

a) Attend at least 80% of program sessions.

b) Complete all surveys and evaluations.

c) Maintain cleanliness and care of the venue.

d) Comply with all venue guidelines and local regulations.

 

13) General Notes

 

a) Program dates may be subject to change due to logistical reasons or force majeure. Any

changes will be communicated in advance.

b) Punctuality is expected for all sessions.

c) Participants must vacate the venue within 30 minutes after each session ends.

 

14) Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Registration and participation in QWINBIZ: The Power of Ideas 2026 implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the program without refund.
