QWINBIZ: From Vision to Impact
1. Background
QWINBIZ (Queensland Women in Business) is an initiative developed by LATINOZ QLD INC. (ABN 42 372 148 665), designed to support migrant women from Latin American backgrounds living in Queensland by providing tools to strengthen and scale their businesses.
The 2025 edition, titled QWINBIZ: From Vision to Impact, aims to support Latina migrant women in Australia as they transition from business stability to acceleration and consolidation. Through practical sessions, specialised workshops and networking opportunities, participants will gain essential knowledge to grow their ventures in the Australian context.
During the program, participants will:

Expand their network of professional and strategic contacts.

Improve their cultural and business adaptability.

Access funding opportunities, grants, and growth models.
This program is made possible thanks to the support of the Queensland Government, which has entrusted LatinOz QLD to lead this socially impactful initiative addressing structural barriers faced by migrant women entrepreneurs.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
a. Reside in Queensland (live, work, or have a business base in the state), or have key staff/subcontractors based in Queensland who are involved in the business.
b. Be 18 years of age or older.
c. Identify as a woman.
d. Be a migrant living in Queensland, originally from Latin America or Spain.
e. Hold a valid ABN or be eligible to apply for one under the Australian Business Register requirements.
f. Have resided in Australia for at least six months.
g. Hold a valid visa for at least 12 months from the start of the program. h. Fit one of the following profiles:

Aspiring entrepreneur aiming to scale and consolidate a business.

Business owner in the growth phase needing to refine the business model and access consolidation tools.

Established business owner with a registered brand in Australia, looking to launch new products or expand services.

4. Dates and Format
The program will run over five (5) months and include ten (10) comprehensive sessions that combine practical workshops, community activities, and strategic networking.

QWINBIZ: From Vision to Impact is designed as a full training experience for selected participants. In exceptional cases and subject to availability, some networking sessions may be open to the public with a set participation fee. This will be assessed based on capacity and communicated through LatinOz QLD's official channels.
5. Registration
a. Registrations for QWINBIZ: From Vision to Impact must be completed exclusively via LatinOz QLD’s official website: https://www.latinoz.org.au.
b. Participants must fill in the form and complete payment to confirm their place.
c. Registration is open from 1 April to 25 April 2025 at 11:00 p.m.
d. A free, public launch event will take place on 12 April 2025. Pre-registration is required. Attendance is optional and not a prerequisite for participation in the program.
e. Once registration is confirmed, participants will receive full program details and a link to a pre-program survey. This information will help personalise mentoring and networking experiences throughout the course.
f. The program has a limited capacity of 70 participants. Spots will be allocated in order of registration and payment.
g. While the program is comprehensive, some networking or community events may be opened individually to the public, depending on availability. These opportunities will be announced on LatinOz QLD's social media and official channels.
6. Program Fee and Payment Conditions
a. Registration and payment must be completed online via LatinOz QLD’s official website: https://www.latinoz.org.au.
b. Upon completing the form and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email with program details and a link to the initial survey to assess their business and assign them to relevant mentoring and networking groups.
c. The program does not allow individual session registrations, as it is delivered as a complete package. Some networking sessions may be offered separately if space allows. These will be promoted via LatinOz QLD’s communication channels.
d. The program is co-funded by the Queensland Government, allowing participants to pay only a portion of the full cost.
e. Program participation includes access to 10 core sessions, community activities, networking, and individual follow-up. f. Participants must attend at least 80% of the program to receive a Certificate of Participation.

Scholarships and Accessibility
To encourage participation:

Selection Criteria
Scholarships are aimed at women with operating businesses who need financial support and show strong commitment to their growth and the program.

Payment Rules
a. Discounts (Early Bird and LatinOz QLD members) only apply to payments made within the specified dates. No retroactive discounts will be granted.
b. Scholarships will be awarded based on the quality and order of applications. Decisions will be notified via email.
c. No refunds will be granted once the program begins, except in justified cases of force majeure, subject to review by LatinOz QLD.
7. Not-for-Profit Community Initiative
QWINBIZ is led by LATINOZ QLD INC. and aims to make a real impact on Queensland’s Latin migrant community. As a not-for-profit initiative, all proceeds are reinvested into the current and future editions of the program.
To ensure broader access, LatinOz QLD is powered by volunteers, with many facilitation, coordination, and management roles delivered pro bono. However, the organisation reserves the right to contract staff to ensure program quality and execution.
This model maximises reach and sustainability, fostering an ecosystem of learning, collaboration, and empowerment for Latina entrepreneurs.
8. Certification
Participants must attend at least 80% of sessions and complete feedback surveys to receive a Certificate of Participation.
9. Use of Images and Recordings
Participation implies consent to the use of images, voice, and testimonials in promotional material for QWINBIZ 2025. Participants will sign a release form at the start of the program.

c. Participants are encouraged to regularly check their emails for updates, instructions, and important announcements.
11. Participant Conduct
a. All participants are expected to treat each other respectfully. Abuse, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
b. LatinOz QLD reserves the right to remove any participant for inappropriate behaviour, without prior notice or refund.
c. Business or idea-related information shared during the program will be treated as confidential.
d. All participants, organisers, and collaborators agree not to disclose or misuse sensitive information. Breaches may lead to immediate removal from the program.
12. Participant Responsibilities
a. Participants must attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions to be eligible for certification.
b. Satisfaction surveys will be required after each session to inform ongoing improvement. Completion is necessary to receive a certificate.
c. Participants must maintain a clean and orderly environment and leave venues in the same condition as found. d. Local regulations on waste, recycling, and order must be followed during in-person activities.
13. General Notes
a. Program dates may change due to logistics or force majeure. Notice will be provided with at least one week's notice when possible.
b. Punctuality is essential. Participants must arrive on time and anticipate possible delays.
c. Venues must be vacated within 30 minutes of session end to allow for venue management.
14. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By registering and participating in QWINBIZ: From Vision to Impact, participants agree to these
Terms and Conditions. Breach of these terms may result in removal from the program without refund.
